Taking Jesus up on His claim that in Him we have Life

Women’s Ministry is a place where we grow together, build relationships with each other, and serve alongside one another. We seek to lead women into a personal and passionate relationship with Jesus Christ, embracing the truth that we are in deep need of His saving grace.  This grace removes our pretense and frees us to be honest and real with ourselves and others as we find our worth and our identity in God. His life-giving grace takes hold of our hearts, transforming our lives in our friendships, families, marriages, church, community, and the world.

Bible Study

In both the Fall and Spring, we offer a 12 week Bible Study series on Tuesdays, both morning and evening.
Morning Sessions 9:15-11am (childcare available, $3 per child);
Tuesday Evening Sessions 7:00-8:30pm. Both sessions meet in the main church building.
These studies serve to provide a safe place for women to connect, study God’s word and grow in community together. Each semester women can choose to study one of three books, and belong to a small group associated with that book. Every week, women discuss the chapters they read, share and pray for one another. This is a great way to get involved in CPC and connect with other women!

Moms Connected: The Early Childhood Years (Birth-Pre-K)

Come and join us as we share life with one another in the midst of this full season of parenting young children. From recipe exchanges to evenings of worship, our gatherings provide opportunities to gain encouragement and connect us to other women. Contact Elizabeth Ranheim with any needs, questions at elizabethr@chespres.org.

Conversations: A Safe Place to Talk About Difficult Realities

Several times each year, women come to a safe place and join with other women to talk about real struggles in their lives and our culture. Past topics have included: Sexual Addiction/Pornography; Loss and Longing through Miscarriage/Infertility; Intimacy in Marriage; Launching Children.

Large Group Gatherings provide opportunities to meet new people and also see old friends. Larger groups may enjoy a movie night or an outing to see a Broadway play. Seasonal gatherings offer opportunities to celebrate and to enjoy connecting with other women.

Retreats provide a wonderful setting for growth, reflection, and fellowship. Weekend Retreats are offered yearly. Several one-day Mini Retreats are also planned each year.
